Miller Unheated Customer Storage Options for 2024-2025
We are making a change this year that impacts your winter storage offering. Due to customer demand and my building's unique configuration, we will heat all of Miller Building 2, where we previously offered you unheated storage. Miller Building 1 has a handful of unheated spots, which are already filled through seniority to longtime customers.
I am offering all past Miller cold storage customers a first chance at two things: either staying in the now-heated Miller 2, where you have been at a higher rate, or moving to my newly renovated Amelia building at a lower rate.
The Ameila building is a fully enclosed rock floor pest-controlled building. It has some natural air moving through it to keep any smell and moisture under control. The biggest difference from Miller is you might end up with a little dust or pollen on your cover / roof. No wild birds or big critters can get in the building. It is pest-sprayed and baited monthly by B&B Extermination. We have stored in there for three winters, and less than a handful of people have reported seeing any signs of mice. Customers have loved this building over the past three years and we have stored over 100 items in there over the three years. Amelia was improved this year with a new roof and rock floor. Complete details on the building are below.
I will have a very limited number of options in my roof-covered buildings. If you are looking for a cheaper option, those would be the Anton, Monica, and Joseph buildings.

OPTION #1 - MILLER UNHEATED TRAFFIC JAM

You can drop off when you want beginning in October and pick up by mid-April. We will put items in for winter storage starting around October 15th throughout the fall and pull them back out in early April, with all items out no later than April 15th. The pull-out date depends on weather conditions. Items dropped off may sit outside for a few days unless coordinated with us.

This is a rock-floor building with windows to allow air to move through to keep air from being stale,
The building is sprayed and baited for pests monthly.
The building is tight to prevent entry from birds and bigger critters. Because of the open windows, field mice could sneak through the bird wire, but customers have rarely reported them in previous seasons.
Price for Season: Take your total length times 12.5
End of the building / anytime removal access can be added for $300 for the season - limited availability
Cost Example: 30ft long from the tip of the trailer hitch to the back of the item x 12.5 = $375.00 for the season

This building will be an excellent cover for your item, keeping it dry, away from wind except from the east, and exposing it only to a little morning sun.
This is an open-sided building. Wild birds can enter the building, sit on top of any item, and leave their pretty presents behind. A ceiling prevents birds from building nests above most of the parkable space.
$450 for the season, including electricity access for a trickle charger
Includes a full back-in parking space.
