CELESTINE STORAGE END OF WINTER 23/24 PICKUP DETAILS

The winter storage season ends on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

Our Summer storage season starts on Monday, April 15. We switch over from winter to summer anytime storage access on that date. 

We have over 190 items stored in our buildings this winter. Most people prefer to pick their items up on weekends. Therefore, for your convenience, we are pulling items out of the buildings on the Friday of the weekend.

Due to limited outdoor parking, items will be available for pickup on two weekends: Sat/Sun April 6/7 and Sat/Sun April 13/14. Your weekend is determined by which half of your building you are stored in.

Your item is in the SECOND half and will be pulled out on Friday, April 12. Since you are in the first half, we may be able to pull you out earlier at your request, depending on how many items are parked in front of you. Contact us if you want an earlier pickup.

We will have your item in the parking lots for your convenience to pick up starting Friday after 5 PM or anytime during the weekend. If your item is at the Factory location or the Anton/Amelia buildings, you must text for the gate code. 812-827-8430

You must pick up and remove your item from the property on your scheduled weekend. If you are a summer customer, you can move it to your summer building, and we will put it inside the following week. If you have a complication preventing you from picking up your item, please text or call us.

UPDATES ON WINTER 24/25 STORAGE

If you desire to store with us again next winter, now is an ideal time to let us know so we can mark down your request to store with us for Winter 24/25. Just text us or give us a call. 812-827-8430 

We are disappointed to report that we are losing our storage access to the Celestine Factory location. The property has been sold to new owners, and our access ends when our lease concludes on April 15, 2024.

If you were a new customer in 2023 or have only stored with us at the Factory, we may not have space for you for Winter 24/25. We annually offer spots by seniority and were full in Winter 22/23 before you were a customer. Therefore, we encourage you to seek other storage for Winter 24/25 if this was your first winter storing with us.

Typically, most customers return season to season, leaving us very few spots to fill with new customers. If we end up with storage for new 2023 customers to return for Winter 24/25, the storage we can offer you will likely be of a different type. Available openings may be unheated, on gravel, or not fully enclosed. 

We are trying to develop storage options for the approximately 60 new Winter 23/24 customers we added. We are renovating our Amelia building, allowing us to store 20 more items. We are considering reconfiguring some of our roof-covered buildings to store more items. We are also brainstorming with other property owners who might have room to take some customers on.

We will squeeze every spot we can, but I would rather lose you as a customer than disappoint you by promising something I may not have. 

Winter renewals begin shortly after July 4; usually, I get answers from senior customers by August 1. I will start filling any openings with Winter 23/24 customers at that time. Typically, we have all spots confirmed by Labor Day.
