New Storage Options for 2023/2024

This season we will offer storage at the Factory on the west side of Celestine on Indiana HWY 164. This large facility includes a heated, secure, pest-controlled warehouse and several roof-covered sheds.

We have a rental agreement in place to use this building through the end of our winter storage on April 14, 2024. Because we have to heat that building since it has sprinklers, all of our heated storage will be at the factory. That means we will have more unheated warehouse-style storage at our South facility that previously had our heated customers in it.

Because we do not own the Factory building, we cannot make any promises that I will have it in future years.

In previous years we offered customers who were in good standing their spot back the next winter. We will be doing that again this year for all 22/23 customers. Going forward, we cannot promise that we will be able to do that if, at some point, we no longer have the factory.

Instead, starting this season, we will institute a seniority system where customers will be offered a spot for the winter based first on how long they have been a customer. 

Obviously, we are in the business of serving our customers. We are only successful when we have served you well. So we will always try to serve as many winter storage customers as possible. It is in our best interest as a business. 

So in practice, what does that mean about using a seniority system? If you stored with us in seasons before 22/23 - As long as you remain an annual customer, we should have room for you in one of the buildings in the future. If you moved to the Factory or switched buildings in 23/24 and we don’t have the Factory in the future you will have the option to return to your previous building from 22/23. Factory customers who joined us for the first time during the Winter 22/23 season (we did store people in the factory last winter but got a late start) will have a spot this season, and if we ever do not have the factory in the future, you will have the first chance to take any of the spaces held by the customers with more seniority that are vacated.

New customers who come on board for Winter 23/24 - If we ever do not have the factory, you may lose your spot, regardless of the building you stored in. However, as our history has shown, we are constantly growing our storage availability and are confident that we would come up with storage options for the prior season's customers if we do not have the factory.

With the change of available options for Winter 23/24, we are asking ALL current and potential new customers to fill out our survey to determine your first and second storage choices.
